Ever since the device was installed in the vehicle, I've had nothing but problems with this company, its staff, and the poor/unreliable device installed. It would not turn on for a while when trying to start the vehicle.

It constantly turns off and on without any one pushing the button. Moreover, it beeps when the driver is engaged in driving through traffic, freeway at posted speeds, during random intervals without any structure or programmed time period. Whoever controls or is in charge of controlling the device is petty and makes severe mistakes even after the vehicle is turned on and being driven. Twice there were occasions where the 1st test was passed to start the vehicle; exactly 2 minutes later, it went off again for a retest while the vehicle was stopped at a red light.

This distracted the driver while the signal lights turned green but the driver was distracted and failed to go forward and pass the green light without impeding traffic that was piling up behind the vehicle. At another occasion, the device went off while the vehicle was taking an exit from the freeway which also had an entrance ramp within the same exit lane. The device went off and the driver was distracted while changing lanes and almost got hit by another vehicle that was on the entrance ramp. The device constantly, with no pattern or defined period tends to force the driver to take the test, regardless of the driver's actions at the time (slowing down to exit or make a turn, at speeds of over an excess of 45 mph and up to 60 mph in the same but inconsistent intervals.

There is no design to the intervals that occur sporadically when the car is either being ignited or if random "retest" appear on the device. The device does not properly respond to the driver's input, either blow or exhale, and give false results even though the driver has not had any alcohol for at least 24 hours prior to attempting to start the vehicle. After being serviced or re-calibrated the tone/noise the device makes are changed which can cause a lack of attention since the driver is now acquainted with the tones/noise it used to make prior to the re-calibration.

At times, the device directly goes to or displays "BLOW" without any warnings/tones/sounds/noises or fails to display "Clearing" which is almost displayed a majority of the time forcing the driver to get distracted and inhale/exhale in to the device. It also gives false positives like "Late breath change detected, Too Soft, Failed Sample" and other additional phrases that show up on the display.
